Extrusion

Inspired by a process, Vanity explores what would happen if 2-dimensional drawings were transformed into functional objects. The extruded design embraces the advantages of the manufacturing process and celebrates it limitations.

THE STOOL

Limited from 3 dimensional form, the stool simplifies its architecture into three distinct components. The Seat, the footrest, and its structure. Each piece needing the other to coexist.

THE CLUTCH

Along with the stool, a series of accessories were designed within the same language. Contents of the clutch included a mirror, perfume, lip balm, a comb and a knife.
